The manager of this restaurant has since apologized. Am I the only one that thinks he needs to be fired?

According to the Associated Press: Roots Bistro in Houston, Texas has apologized for a sign that was on display outside of his restaurant, which clearly reads:

Beer should be like violence, domestic.

The manager Kenneth Choate says that the employee in charge of the sign, had Googled "best business signs" to find something to place on their marquee.

However he did not place the blame on the employee adding,

As the manager of this business, I have to own this and have to live with the circumstances. This is not who we are.

and says the sign doesn't reflect the restaurant's views.

I know we all make mistakes, but if he were the manager of my store, I'd have to fire him. What about you?
