Yep that's my CCW and I do carry whenever I can. But that doesn't mean I can legally carry my concealed handgun where ever I want. It doesn't even mean I can legally put my .45 in it's holster, stick it in my pants and drive to Las Vegas with it legally. Why not? Because Nevada doesn't recognize Colorado's CCW permit. So why not?

The bottom line is that each state makes their own laws. And that includes those laws that affect your Second Amendment rights. And that is precisely why I don't want my CCW to be legal in all 50 states. For that law to pass, that means the Federal Government will need to get involved, and good lord they'll just end up screw things up and making it worse.

That being said, if there isn't already, it might not be a bad idea to have a special CCW for people with occupations who require them to travel from state to state on a regular basis - truck drivers, train operators, oil and gas workers, etc...

There's a saying that I first heard in the ultra liberal state of California and it goes like this: "I'd rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6"
