Should A 16 Year Old Be Allowed To Vote?

What do you think should 16-year-olds be allowed to vote? It could happen as this fall DC will vote on whether to allow 16-year-olds to vote in the election process.

Because of the shootings that have been going on across the country, young people all across the United States have started a movement to do something to stop the violence in schools. Young people are coming together create change, pressuring lawmakers to do something to make schools safer.

In Washington D.C., a council member moved to lower the voting age from 18 years of age to 16 years of age. Right now, there are four cities allowing 16 and 17 years old to vote in local elections. Three Maryland Cities, Takoma Park, Greenbelt, and Hyattsville.
