Getting your photo taken can be awesome. But, if the photographer is someone you don't know who follows you, then takes your picture for no obvious reason, it can be very freaky.

That's exactly what happened to a woman who was shopping at Target in Grand Junction.

According to a Crime Stoppers report, while the woman was loading her purchases in the car, she noticed a man crouched down behind her taking pictures.

This odd event happened on on December 15, 2016, around 5:45 p.m. The photographer was also photographed - by the store's security cameras - which revealed the weirdo had followed the woman out of the store and to her car.

The suspect is a black male, 20 to 25 years old and between 5-feet 5-inches and 5-feet 8-inches tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing black clothing. The man reportedly left the area in a white older model sedan.

Now, the Grand Junction Police Department would like to visit with this guy to find out why he was taking those pictures and help him understand why this is socially unacceptable and possibly illegal.

If you know or have seen this person or have information about this event that would help police, call Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 970-241-7687. Reports can also be filed through the Crime Stoppers website or the P3 Tips app

Information reported through Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous and if it leads to an arrest can earn the person reporting a cash reward of up to $1,000.
