Do people still pinch you if you don't wear green on St. Patrick's Day? It seems if this tradition went out with brown corduroy pants. In the event people still practice this tradition, here are some practical and affordable defenses.

Back when you were a kid, it was a very clever trick to wearing nothing green except for a pair of socks with green stripes. With this technique, people would pinch you, then you'd pick up your pant leg, thus revealing the green in your wardrobe. The rules are a bit fuzzy at this point. If memory serves, if you were pinched while in fact wearing green,  you could then pinch them back twice, or really hard, or something like that.

Play it safe, just in case this routine hasn't faded into oblivion. Protect yourself this St. Patrick's Day.
