Secrets-Is It Okay to Tell Your Significant Other

Got another great email from one of our listeners wanting advice from YOU!

This one came in over the weekend from Janelle and says, "Hey Mack, a few days ago my best friend told me a juicy secret that I promised I wouldn’t tell anyone. I’m dying to spill the beans and feel like I need to get it off my chest. I considered telling my boyfriend of 2 years because he wouldn't judge her or tell anyone else. My question is: Is it ok for me to tell my boyfriend my best friends big secret?"

I'm not sure how this applies to boyfriends/girlfriends etc., but I'll be honest I don't keep anything from my husband. So if you ever tell me anything in confidence it should be expected that Alex will know too. I feel like in marriage people don't keep secrets.
