You would think that after playing board games your whole life, you would grow out of your cheating phase and have learned how to play fair. Especially when the game is Scrabble. I've tried to cheat in many different ways at this game and none of them have ever worked.

We have all tried making up words like "Sharter" or "Fomey" and many others that never make sense. When that doesn't work we tell our competitors " It's French". Which never works. We've all even tried putting an "M" upside down to make it a "W" or a "Z" into a "N" hoping nobody would notice.
New this year in cheating at Scrabble, stealing the blanks for the next game. Who has enough patients and time to play more than one game of scrabble anyway? The answer: The lonely losers who attend the Scrabble National Championships every year. According to the National Scrabble Association, one contestant at this years National Scrabble Championship tried stealing blanks after his first game in order to use them for the next game. After the player confessed to stealing the blanks he was ejected from the tournament. Oh well, at least he still has the World of Warcraft tournament.
