Three Loveable Homeless Dogs In Grand Junction Are Ready For Forever Homes
Look at these photos at your own risk because these homeless dogs are sure to steal your heart.
This week we have three loveable homeless dogs from Roice Hurst Humane Society that are probably going to new homes soon. One look at them and you just can't say no.
The first of our featured pets this week is Nova, a 2 1/2-year-old husky/malamute mix. Words describing her have included sweet, loving, playful, and of course, beautiful. Nova loves to play and explore and wants all the love and attention she can get. She loves to go for walks, but she's still working on her leash manners. Hey, nobody's perfect.
She came to Roice-Hurst with her best friend Havoc, pictured below, so she's used to having friends. If you already have a dog, you could arrange a meeting to see if they get along before you force them into a new relationship.
Havoc is a two-year-old husky with lots of energy. He knows some basic commands and loves treats. Like his best friend Nova, he still needs some practice with the leash. Havoc would probably do best with another doggie friend in the household.
Her name is Lola, she was a showgirl.........oh, wait, that was another Lola. But, very much like the showgirl, this Lola is a sweet and loveable gal who likes to play with all kinds of toys. She is 6-years-old and still has lots of energy to play and keep up with an active family. She has had some time to play with other dogs, but it would be best to do an introduction if you have another dog. Lola has some manners but could use some more leash training. She's not really a fan of cats and prefers older kids.
