Rifle Police WARN: Water Treatment Plant Has Experienced a Complete Failure

Warning for residents on the Rifle Water System, according to police they have experienced a complete failure!

According to a post from the Rifle Police Department,

****************WATER EMERGENCY****************

The water treatment plant has experienced a complete failure. Please conserve water, as we are now operating off of the stored water tanks. There is now a full evaluation going on and more info will be available first thing in the morning. Please repost, and forward this to as many people as you can.

They posted an update this morning that says it was NOT a complete failure but a partial shutdown but that water still needs to be conserved and,

Storage tanks are at capacity and the city is reevaluating production need versus production capability until problem is cured. Given water demand over recent weeks, the plant supervisor feels he can maintain adequate storage
