Sure, sometimes some fun is made about this area. 

But, all kidding aside, we shouldn't take this place for granted.

Just the other morning, had the pleasure of getting to watch the sun come up over the mountains. We all should do that more often. It was beautiful.

Just another reason why I wouldn't want to move anywhere else. Especially, since where I came from recently was hit with 10-20 inches of snow and the daytime highs are around 10 degrees.  Feeling pretty blessed that I am able to hike up Mt. Garfield when it's 52 degrees and sunshine two days AFTER Thanksgiving.

So, while it might not be the perfect place to live, the Grand Junction area sure has a lot to offer for the mind, body and spirit. Get out and enjoy it.

  • This is your backyard.

  • This is how you relax.

  • Because there is no better place than the Grand Mesa for some awesome scenery.

  • You live in nature's paintings.

  • You've seen the end of a rainbow.
