While kids and teenagers are addicted to looking at their phone there is a new trend for adults and it's not playing with electronics. Instead, it's returning to what we did as kids to have fun play games and put together jigsaw puzzles.

More and more adults are admitting that when they are looking for a way to relax and relieve stress puzzles and games are the way to go. Puzzles are fantastic because you can work on one with a friend or have fun by yourself. Plus lots of parents are finding that their kids are eager to help put a puzzle together once they see someone else working to put it together.

Savannah and I play lots of games at home with our favorites being Yahtzee, the Game of Life, or the card game cribbage. It's just a fun way to relax after work and not think about anything except enjoying time together. Plus it's a great way to save money as most of us have board games that have been sitting around in the closet for far too long.

If you're looking to try out a new game there are plenty of places around town to get something new to play. One of my coworkers said the best place is Board Fox Games on Main Street. In fact, a group of us are going to their 'game night' tonight (Wednesday nights) to play one of their games for free. Just a fun way to socialize and it's a price that everyone can afford.

What are your favorite games to play?
