Pick’em Contest Winner Tries for $10,000

Congratulations to Andrew Ridgeway, winner of our Pro Football Pick'em Contest. Andrew now has a chance to win $10,000 on the day of the big game.

For the season, Andrew correctly guessed the winners of each week's game nearly 70% of the time. Andrew says the key to his success is simply being informed. "In my opinion the key to successfully picking NFL games is to stay informed and to watch as many of the games as possible.I tried to keep up to date with all the news surrounding the teams and make picks based off who I thought the better team was, not necessarily what "experts" or statistics would say about the match-up.' He also says it doesn't hurt to be lucky sometimes.

Andrew's favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys,and he says in recent years he's had a hard time picking against his team. But, now he's learned to pick with his "head"  not his "heart". He says his willingness to pick against the Cowboys gave him three or four extra correct picks this year.

Andrew has submitted his prediction as to what the halftime score of the big game will be as well as the final score. If he's correct on either score, Andrew wins $1000 and if he's correct on both scores he wins $10,000.

With more at stake this year, Andrew says he'll definitely be watching the big game and thinks it's great having a chance to win $10,000.
