People for Ethical Treatment of Animals is at it again. This time they want a sign dedicated to the fish that didn't make it to the farmers market. I know ridiculous hu?

On October 11th a truck headed to the farmers market crashed and spilt fish all over the road. They were able to get the fish scooped up in time and get them to the farmers market. The fish were apparently still alive when they were in the truck, but were on their way to the farmers market and then onto the dinner table.

Dina Kourda of PETA has asked that a sign be erected at the corner of Yale and Walnut where the fish were spilled that reads: "In memory of hundreds of fish who suffered and died at this spot."

I'm all about treating animals ethically, but usually signs like this are meant for humans, not fish. Thats why PETA and Dina Kourda gets our Nincompoop in the News.
