One Person Injured in Shooting at Grand Junction Apartment
One person has unfortunately been injured in a shooting at an apartment in Grand Junction. The shooting took place on Monday night, April 12, 2021.
When Did the Shooting Occur?
According to KKCO, authorities responded to reports that someone had been shot just before 9 p.m. on Monday night at a Grand Junction apartment. The report stated that someone had been shot after some type of altercation.
Where Did the Shooting Occur?
The shooting took place at Prospector Point Apartments on Highway 50, which is in Orchard Mesa in Grand Junction. We've yet to see any information about the extent of the injuries or the name of the person who was shot, according to KKCO.
Has An Arrest Been Made?
An arrest has been made in connection to the shooting that took place on Monday night at Prospector Point Apartments in Grand Junction. The suspect fled from the scene in a red Kia Soul. They were found soon after and were checked for a head injury.
According to KKCO, the suspect was found about an hour later in the downtown Grand Junction and arrested.
Multiple Shootings in the Grand Valley

On April 4, numerous people were taken to the hospital after a shooting led to a police chase. On March 2, an officer-involved shooting in Clifton left one person seriously injured.
