Original ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy To Play In Denver

THIS is how it all started. The opening scene of the 1977 blockbuster movie 'Star Wars.'

If you are as big of a Star Wars fan as I am, well get ready for a road trip to Denver sometime this summer. The original trilogy is being rereleased in theaters.

All three, 'Star Wars', 'The Empire Strikes Back,' and 'Return of the Jedi' will be shown back-to-back-to-back at special limited viewings around the country.

I found out about this from the website latimes.com. The only drawback and this might be nitpicking, is that the movies will be in the 1997 format that has those George Lucas little additions. But, at least we don't have to be tortured by sitting through those 'other' three disastrous attempts at this movie legacy.

According to the website, Denver is a stop on this movie tour. Although no date and the specific place has been named yet, I will keep you posted as soon as I found out.

Then we will saddle up our Tauntauns and ride up the hill. Actually, wouldn't it be easier to make the jump to light speed? We would get there faster.
