This is the kind of news that no one wants to hear but unfortunately, one person lost their life this morning as one car fell two levels in a parking garage at Denver International Airport.

The report came in around 4 a.m. this morning but no details have been released on exactly how the vehicle fell two levels at the airport. Parking levels four, five, and six in the western garage at the airport were all closed for multiple hours after the crash as law enforcement was investing the crash.

We got more details from a journalist, Emily Allen for KDVR with this video showing some of the aftermath of the crash and police crews working on the scene. As you can see from the video the pavement under the vehicle is crumbled.

We also got this information form the Denver International Airport on Twitter saying how levels 5 and 6 have been reopened to the public for use and level 4 should be reopened shortly. There is special signage still out at this time and all drivers should use caution when approaching the airport as crews are still working on the scene of the crash.

This is absolutely devastating news for the families involved as this seems to be a freak accident at this time. It makes you wonder what could have happened for this accident to take place but that is beside the point, it's still tragic for the family of the deceased. As we learn more about this accident we will try to keep you in the know.
