Oak Ridge Boys Coming To Grand Junction

They received a call on Friday from former First Lady Barbara Bush asking them to help relieve her husband George H. W. Bush's suffering from bronchitis and other related problems by singing to him!

According to a spokesperson for the Bush's, the " friendship goes back many years", so the guys met up at their office and serenaded him over the phone with "Elvira" -- at his request -- and "Amazing Grace."

The spokesperson said, it "gave the President a real shot in the arm as he, thankfully, continues to improve. The Bushes continue to feel so blessed to have so many friends like The Oaks, and wish to thank one and all for their prayers and good wishes."
