Loveland's newest natural area is a beautiful place for a quick run or walks by yourself or with friends and family.

Prairie Ridge Natural Area is located at 6400 N Wilson Ave in northwest Loveland. The park is northwest of 57th St. and Wilson Ave. The Natural Area has a 2.4-mile multi-use surface trail system. The trail connects Prairie Ridge with the Coyote Ridge Natural Area. Prairie Ridge has a brand new (very clean) restroom and a 36 car parking lot.

Rules from City of Loveland:

  • No dogs allowed
  • No e-bikes allowed
  • Open sunrise to sunset
  • Parking allowed in designated areas only
  • No large vehicle parking (horse trailer parking available one mile north at Coyote Ridge Natural Area)
  • Stay on trail to protect our natural resources
  • Collecting, removing, destroying or defacing any natural or man-made objects is prohibited
