New year, new laws. 2022 will bring some new laws to the state of Colorado (22 to be exact). This isn't anything mind-blowing because every year, there are new laws that go into effect, and like those other years, most of these laws will have little or no effect on your everyday life but this year, there may be a few that affect more people.
In a nutshell, the state of Colorado will be raising the minimum wage. The state is also looking to make life more difficult for child sex abusers and the institutions that house those horrible acts. It's going to be a lot harder for the state to take away your driver's license to pay fines. Along with some new marijuana laws that will affect people of all ages when it comes to things on the medicinal side.
I'm actually pretty excited about a couple of these laws, especially the one where companies that have auto-renewing contracts make things a little more clear and concise, especially when it comes to opting out and not sneakily getting you back for auto-renew when you don't want one.
