A school district in Nebraska is doing their best to be politically correct and not offend anyone, that's why kids are called "purple penguins" and not boys and girls.

Well, It's a P.C. world we live in. Parents are getting in trouble for letting their kids play outside and now they're suggesting that teachers to refer to the kids by un-gendered names in their classroom like "purple penguins."

The reasoning? Well if your child is transgender and they don't "know" or understand what gender they are yet, calling them a boy or girl might offend them.

But, calling everyone a purple penguin is technically gender neutral and not offensive to anyone ... right?!

The top 5 rejected non offensive gender defining names:

  • Red Dragons was rejected because red could be considered angry and dragons are mean and don't exist.
  • Pink Unicorns was rejected because pink is too feminine and unicorns don't exist.
  • Yellow Chickens was rejected because yellow could be wimpy and chickens are, well, chicken.
  • Blue Rabbits was rejected because blue is considered to be sad and rabbits aren't blue. But then again penguins aren't purple either.
  • Black Snakes was rejected because black isn't a friendly color and snakes can be scary. Especially black snakes.

So purple penguins it is! Perfect!

So what happens when the purple penguins have to go to the bathroom? Which one do they use?
