Montrose Police Ask Your Help to Identify Robbery Suspects
The Montrose Police Department asks your help to identify two suspects from last night's robbery at the Montrose Walmart.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff's Office official Facebook page, a robbery occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the Walmart at 16750 S. Townsend in Montrose.
The Montrose Press reports a man and woman were leaving the South Townsend Avenue store with unpaid items. When a clerk confronted them, the male suspect allegedly drew and knife and slashed at the clerk. According to Chief Blaine Hall, the knife attack could be described as a “near miss.”
