UPDATE: Missing Fruita Teen Found Safe

[UPDATED: November, 10 @ 2:56 p.m.] Ciara Bugay was found safe at a home in Mesa County and is back with her family.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office asks your help in locating a 17-year-old Fruita girl missing since Wednesday. She has a medical condition, and time is of the essence.

Authorities are searching for Ciara Bugay. She was reported as a runaway last Wednesday night. She is a Type 1 Diabetic and requires insulin daily. It is believed she has only enough insulin to last through Saturday.

The missing teen is from Craig but now lives in Fruita. It is believed she has ties to Parker, Colorado.

She is described as:

• 5' 2"
• 147 pounds
• brown hair
• green eyes
• tattoo on left forearm which reads "Take These Broken Wings"

She was last seen wearing:

• jeans
• tall brown boots
• a red shirt
• tan and ivory backpack
