Military Dad’s Homecoming is His Daughter’s Biggest and Best Birthday Gift

This dad decided to give his 3-year-old the best birthday gift ever, his safe return from military duty in Afghanistan.

Even though you knew what was coming while the little girl was completely unwrapping the giant box, it's the anticipation of the moment the girl realizes her dad is inside that keeps you watching.

As a dad, I recognize those precious squeals of surprise, laughter and joy as coming from someone who's a true "daddy's girl."

Having not experienced military deployment, I can't possibly know what these families go through. I can appreciate the sacrifice the men and women in the military make to serve our country. To all of you --Thank You.
