Mexican Grey Wolf Safe Back At Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center
Finally some good news! Usually, we hear about people shooting or poaching wildlife or just killing for the trophy but not this time. This young Mexican Grey wolf made it back home to its sanctuary.
A young Mexican Grey wolf escaped from the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Teller County on November 11.
The Mexican Grey wolf that escaped on an adventure is also blind in one eye but survived its ordeal outside of captivity. The Mexican Grey wolf is now safe and sound back at the refuge.
Mexican wolves are protected under the law as an endangered species, and it is illegal to kill or harm a Mexican wolf unless it is in self-defense.
