Medical Marijuana Shop To Open In Delta

Delta voters approved the sale of medicinal marijuana last November.

Green Meadows Dispensary Is adding a new store in Delta. The outfit has operated a location ten miles south of Montrose for years. The new store will be divided in half with the public invited to shop the front of the store for CBD products and medical card-carrying patrons entering around back to shop for their medical marijuana.

The Green Meadows owners acquired their operating license just a couple of days ago. At the time of this writing, they weren't sure when the new location would be open for business. Hope is they'll be celebrating the "Grand Opening" in about two weeks or so.

Even years into Colorado's legal weed experiment there's still controversy.  “People think that we’re using this just to get high or that we’re having fun but there’s so much new research coming out with how many diseases and ailments that this helps all the time,” so says Green Meadows store manager, Ryan Hall.
