A man missed the point of what the purpose of a convenience store is. Instead of selecting some items and paying for them, he told the clerk he wanted the convenience of taking all the money from the register.

According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18 a man walked into the Corner Store at 1015 North Avenue with a handgun and the intention of forcibly making a cash withdrawal.

The suspect in this armed robbery is described as a Hispanic male about 6-feet tall who appeared to be between 25 and 35 years of age. At the time of the robbery the man was wearing all black clothing and a bandanna covering most of his face.
