Lynx At Colorado Ski HIll Found Dead

Sad news to report about this Colorado lynx.

This cat got quite a few views on YouTube when he made a surprise appearance at the Purgatory Ski Resort just outside of Durango, Colorado.

However, in a story on nypost.com Colorado Parks and Wildlife report that this internet star was found dead Sunday. Officials suspect that the animal was more than likely already very sick when he appeared on video at the ski hill.

Biologist Scott Wait told the Denver Post that he wasn't surprised at the sighting, but at the behavior of this particular cat. From viewing the video, Wait speculates that something was quite wrong with the lynx.

Further tests will be conducted to determine exactly what happened to this YouTube star.
