Luke Bryan can make a few good cocktails, but there’s one he’s particularly proud of.

On Monday (Sept. 10), Bryan held a press conference at his new bar and restaurant, Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, in Nashville and shared what he thinks is his best drink.

"I do a pretty good old-fashioned when given the proper ingredients," the superstar said with a chuckle. “When I go to make my old-fashioneds at the house, I don’t have my simple syrup like I need. You know, one of the kids has the muddler (or) one of the dogs has taken it out in the yard or something, so now the fact that I can come to my bar and have all my ingredients to make my perfect little old-fashioned, is gonna be exciting. I’m pretty prideful about my old-fashioneds."

Bryan also notes that he can make a mean margarita, but gin is off limits: “Don’t ask me to do gin, though. I’m not a gin guy.”

With Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Bryan enters onto a short list of country music elite who have tattooed their names to bars and eateries in the booming lower Broadway district in Nashville. Luke's 32 Bridge covers 30,000 square feet over six levels, with four stages, six bars and two restaurants — one of which is the only rooftop sushi bar in Nashville. Before the press conference, Bryan held a celebratory ribbon cutting followed by a one-song acoustic performance of "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset." He capped off the Monday celebration with an outdoor concert on lower Broadway that evening, featuring special guests.
