Look Back at the 40s + 50s in Western Colorado With Waylon’s Ultimate Hand-Me-Down [PHOTOS]

Much to my surprise and delight, my parents have prematurely given me my inheritance. In this particular case, inheritance comes in the form of my grandpa's old press camera, a Speed Graphic, complete with custom built display case.

I've owned cars smaller than this thing. The Speed Graphic was considered to be the most famous of the press cameras. Later models of this camera boasted being "one pound lighter" than previous models.

I've spent the last few years attempting to get Bob Grant's photos of Western Colorado back in circulation. Now, the camera responsible for some of those photos is out of storage and back in action as well.
