It's a collaboration no one saw coming: Lady Antebellum and Bell Biv DeVoe. Together they make up Lady AnteBell Biv DeVoe!

On Monday evening (March 6), Lady A teamed up with trio Bell Biv Devoe for a Mashup Monday performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The nearly four-minute set had the country trio join forces with the former three members of New Edition for a stunning collaboration of "Poison" and "Need You Now."

Lady A took the stage first donning spray-painted jean jackets that read "Lady Antebellum." As the three members turned to face the crowd, Dave Haywood was shown holding a keytar while Hillary Scott began singing Bell Biv Devoe's 1990 hit "Poison."

Bell Biv DeVoe then joined in for some rap freestyle before Scott segued into "Need You Now." An unlikely collaboration, Lady A's stunning harmonies fit in well with Bell Biv DeVoe's urban-influenced music and rhymes.

Lady Antebellum had been teasing the performance via Instagram, telling fans, "This is going to be SO FUN!!! Tomorrow night!"

The country trio seemed to have as much fun on stage with Bell Biv Devoe as they let on in the tune-in photos. Catch the entire performance above.

Lady Antebellum are gearing up for a busy 2017 with the announcement of a new tour and album. The trio are set to release Heart Break in June, and they’ll visit more than 40 cities to promote their new music.

“We knew right away that we had to name this album after a track that is a play on the word ‘heartbreak,’” Scott shares in a press release. ”It’s all about those personal growths everyone goes through, and it was liberating to get back in the studio with Charles and Dave to intertwine those feelings into the recording process. I feel like we’ve reemerged stronger than ever, and I can’t wait to share more music!”

Lady A launch the You Look Good Tour on May 26 in Bakersfield, Calif. They'll play WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn., in August.
