Kyle Petty’s Charity Ride Comes to Grand Junction TODAY

Kyle Petty will lead more than 175 motorcycle riders cross country during the Charity Ride Across America and will make an overnight stop in Grand Junction during it's 19th Anniversary on April 30, 2013.

This week long event benefits Victory Junction, a camp for chronically ill children, through the rides "Small Change. Big Impact." program.

During the groups stop in GJ; spectators, visitors and residents will have the chance to meet Kyle Petty and NFL great/Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker!

The ride begins April 27th in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and run 2,100 miles before ending in Tempe, Arizona May 3rd.

He will be stopping today at the Double Tree on Horizon Drive at 4p.
