KEKB Takes First for Best Promotion/Marketing for Last Run of Your Life at CBA’s

KEKB is proud to announce that on Saturday night at the Colorado Broadcasters Association Award Ceremony, we took first place with the Last Run of Your Life 5k for Best Promotion/Marketing Campaign.

Of course we wouldn't have been able to do this without you. We would also like to thank Kelly and Rob at Fruita Parks and Rec for all of their help. Also, all of our volunteers, Colorado Mesa Track and Field and Cross Country teams, Boy Scouts, The Colorado Army National Guard, Absolute Dance and every volunteer that dedicated their time to this event.

Mack and I decided to do the Last Run of Your Life back in April and are super excited not only for its success but also for getting an award for all the hard work. We are extremely proud that we could be recognized for a great zombie run that benefits our Grant a Wish program. The funds from the run gave kids life skills around Christmas time through various Parks and Rec activities.

We had a great time at the CBA's. It's not very often you will see Mack and I all dressed up, but this was one of those events.
