Two girls made history at the Pepsi Center Jasslyn Gallegos and Angel Rios they became the first two girls ever to place at the Colorado state wrestling tournament. The event was held on Saturday. Jasslyn Gallegos is a senior at Skyview High School and Angel Rios a junior at Valley High. Jasslyn Gallegos finished fifth, and Angel Rios finished fourth, in Class 3A’s 106-pound weight class.

My niece also wrestles she is pretty good and has placed many times. She says its more fun to wrestle than do other sports more challenging for her. I love watching but I always worry if someone is going to get hurt.

My mom loves watching women wrestle on t.v and my niece hopes to wrestle professionally when she graduates.
