Is This Really Colorado’s Favorite Classic Rock Band?

However, as time has progressed, classic rock has inevitably grown to include more songs from the '80s and even the '90s. Despite the necessary change in the catalog, many still consider the golden age of the genre to be centered around the '70s and '80s.
With that in mind, the age of technology has produced a study that names the most popular classic rock bands in each state, many of which may come as a surprise.
Is Fleetwood Mac Really Colorado's Favorite Classic Rock Band?
Considering the fact that Coloradans tend to be a little more outdoorsy and, in some cases, a little rough around the edges compared to other states, it may come as a surprise to find out that the data taken in this recent study showed that the Centennial State favored Fleetwood Mac over any other classic rock band.

To put that into perspective, Colorado's neighboring New Mexico favored Metallica above any others, Wyoming apparently loves Judas Priest and Nebraska's favorite classic rock band is, according to this study, the "hottest band in the world," KISS.
The study says that it based these statistics on "Google trends search data over the last 12 months" and the results were recently shared on Facebook by a fairly popular music-oriented page.
