Dinosaurs Have Taken Over Garden of the Gods in Colorado
Colorado has no shortage of great places for dinosaur enthusiasts to visit. There’s the Dinosaur Journey Museum in Fruita, the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience in Cañon City, and, of course, the town of Dinosaur, Colorado.

Now, there’s yet another attraction in the Centennial State dedicated to dinosaurs, but it will only be around until the end of January 2026. Keep scrolling to learn about Colorado Dinosaurs at Garden of the Gods.
Dinosaur Attraction at One of Colorado’s Most Popular Tourist Destinations
One of the most popular tourist destinations in Colorado is not a manmade one, but rather one completely made by Mother Nature - Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
This attraction features large, red rocks that have been around far longer than the inhabitants of the city, and for a limited time, it is home to an attraction that features creatures that inhabited the planet long before humans.
The attraction is called Colorado Dinosaurs and is open to the public between now and January 23, 2026.
Colorado Dinosaurs is located on the 2nd floor of the Visitor and Nature Center, in the Southeast of the building at Garden of the Gods, and features things like storytelling, a fossil touch table, and allows patrons to actually dig for fossils.
The program is primarily directed toward enhancing experiences for children who are interested in dinosaurs and what it’s like to be a paleontologist, though the fun and educational attraction is also open to patrons of all ages.
