Broncos Country Wants To Know When They’ll Wear Throwbacks

Whenever the Denver Broncos schedule of opponents is released, it's a big deal. But how big a deal it is compared to a whole different schedule is debatable.

We already know WHO the Broncos are going to play every year, oftentimes a few years in advance. They'll always play their division rivals twice each, once at home and once on the road, plus they'll play another couple divisions each year, with a few record-similar opponents from other divisions.

When their opponent schedule is released, really all we find out is what day and time they'll be playing.

This week, however, they've released an entirely different schedule. One that is scrutinized, debated and hotly contested by fans all across Broncos Country.

Of course, I'm referring to the schedule of WHAT UNIFORMS THEY WILL WEAR, week by week, throughout the season. And that schedule just dropped.

They haven't given us the full pants, jersey and helmet combos yet - which arguably makes their latest set of uniforms the most exciting. It's almost kind of a tease, and we won't know the full combos until the week before each game all year. But here's what we do know.

They'll wear their white jerseys on the road - either with white, navy or orange pants, which we will find out on a weekly basis. For example, this Friday night for their preseason opener in Atlanta, they're wearing their road whites with orange pants and navy helmet. And those look pretty awesome.

They'll wear their sunset orange home jerseys four times this year, again pants color and helmet combo TBD.

They'll wear midnight navy jerseys twice, yet again pants and helmet TBD.

But what you really want to know is when they'll wear their throwbacks from the 70s, 80s and 90s. They'll wear those twice.

Once against the division rival Chargers when they come to Denver the last week of the season. The other? Against the FORMER division rival and current Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, who come to Denver for a Week 6 showdown on October 15.

No matter what they're wearing, football is back, baby!
