It was announced in late August of 2024, that 720,000 BMWs were being recalled due to there being a chance that the electric water pump may catch fire. Nobody likes the idea of a fire, so the service centers at BMW dealerships are going to be getting pretty busy.

According to statistics from 2021, there are about 1.5 million vehicles, total, on the road in Colorado. How many of those are BMWs is hard to say, but it's worth checking the list to see if your BMW is on the recall list.
