I recently went to an auto parts store in Colorado looking for some cleaning products for my car. To be honest, I am not great at maintaining a clean vehicle.

My car is often covered in bugs and dirt. On the inside, my car is littered in fast food bags, dirt, grime, and a scent that I can not identify.

I have always kept a few cleaning products in my car, but I wanted to upgrade a little bit. However, the prices were higher than I expected, so I ended up purchasing only the essentials.

We all know that the winter season in Colorado can be tough on our vehicles. Instead of buying gear or extra products to de-ice your car, you can use a vinegar mix. This TikTok user uses distilled white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and a spray bottle.

Experts say that you can prevent frost ahead of time by spraying a mix on your windshield before you go inside for the evening. This will make your morning go by quickly.

During the summer months, our vehicle's windshields and windows are covered in bugs in Colorado. Even after taking your car through the wash, most of the time you will notice guts and other mysterious liquid is still on your windshield.

Here's another way you can use vinegar. A mix of one cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water in a spray bottle will eliminate the bug graveyard you have.

Quick note: Do NOT get the vinegar on your paint.

White vinegar can help a lot with stains inside of your vehicle. A mix of vinegar and baking soda will certainly help get out your toughest stains.

Many of us in Colorado enjoy outdoor activities. Snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and other activities are a ton of fun. However, these Colorado favorites can lead to a smelly car very fast.

You can use vinegar as an odor-neutralizer to get all of the nasty smells out of your car. All you have to do is leave an open container of vinegar.
