Don’t Miss the Loveland Corn Roast Festival This Weekend
There are constantly events happening around Northern Colorado, and certain ones are traditions that many families look forward to each year. There are some events that are unique to the area that you won't find anywhere else, and one of those events is happening this weekend in Northern Colorado. The Loveland Corn Roast Festival is back, and many are excited, but if you have never been, you are in for a treat.
Loveland Corn Roast Festival
It is that time once again. The Loveland Corn Roast Festival is back and will be happening Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22. This year will be the 130th edition of the event. The event takes place in Fairgrounds Park in Loveland and will begin at 5 PM on Friday, with the sale of roasted corn, food trucks, retail vendors, sponsor tents, the beer garden, and the air-bound kids zone. Corn shucking will be happening at 5:30 PM, and live music will be from 8 PM to 10 PM at the Styx Paradise Theater.
What is the Loveland Corn Roast Festival?
The Loveland Corn Roast Festival is an event that brings the community together with fun events, a parade, and time to enjoy some delicious roasted corn. It is also a great way to celebrate the beginning of the school year and summer getting near the end. On Saturday, there will be a parade beginning at 9:30 AM through downtown Loveland. From 11 AM to 8 PM, all the events listed above will once again be happening, with a cornhole tournament also taking place at noon, live music from noon to 2 PM performed by Brian Brooks' Sundown Rising, and more live music from 3 PM to 5 PM performed by Steve Manshel. There will be a duck race at 4 PM and more live music from 6 PM to 8 PM performed by Hairaiser to end out the night and weekend.

Anderson Farms' Corn Maze Designs Through the Years
Colorado's Anderson Farms was among the early farms to adopt "agritainment" by turning its corn fields into a-maize-ing mazes.
Today, the maze itself is actually mazes, with four halls of corn sending attendees across 8 miles of trails covering 25 acres of land.
The farm's fall festival has grown to include several attractions and has become a family tradition for thousands of Coloradans.
