
Your Guide to the Scariest Haunted Attractions in Northern Colorado
The leaves are starting to turn, the days are getting shorter, and spooky season is here.
While I'm not the BIGGEST fan of haunted houses, I do try to check out at least one spooky sort of attraction before the start of November.
Northern Colorado is full of so many great options if you want to get your scare on! From haunted houses to ghost tours, there's something for everyone this Halloween season.

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park – Haunted Tours & Ghost Programs
We have to get the most obvious one out of the way, right?
The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park inspired Stephen King's 'The Shining.' Ever since, this place has been a haven for any fan of horror.
Over the years, the staff at this establishment have been leaning into these ghostly vibes. You can even take several different tours of the hotel including:
- Historic Hotel Tour
- Stanley Night Tour
- The Shining Tour
- Frozen Dead Guy Tour

They even offer something called 13 a Late Night Séance, if you REALLY want to lean into the supernatural.

Find Your Fright Haunted House – Loveland
Located at 333 E 4th St Loveland, Find Your Fright Haunted House is officially back for a 15th year!
Opening night is October 10th from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The haunted house will be running on October 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, and 31st.
On October 25th, kids can actually check out the attraction during Kids Day Haunted House. This will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will coincide with Loveland's Trick or Treat Street event.
Tickets are $20 for visitors 12 and up and $15 for kids 11 and under. Check out more details about ticketing here!

Creepy Walk in the Woods – Loveland / Savage Woods
If you're looking for something a bit more immersive and scary, you might want to check out this multi-night experience in October. Creepy Walk in the Woods is back for another year of mischief.
This terrifying experience begins at 1750 Savage Rd, Loveland and will be going on for seven nights in October (10th, 11th, 17th, 18, 24, 25, and 31st) from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Tickets are $30 a person and can only be purchased on site. For more details about the scares make sure to check out their official page.
Scream Acres at Fritzler Farm Park – LaSalle (Near Greeley)
Just outside of Greeley, in LaSalle you'll find Fritzler Farm Park.
During the height of Halloween season, this popular fall destination is transformed into a haunted corn maze. Scream Acres at Fritzler Farm Park opened at the end of September and will run on select days through the 26th of October.

Terror in the Corn at Anderson Farms – Erie / Boulder County
Over the years, Terror in the Corn at Anderson Farms has been named a National Top Haunt by the Haunted Attraction Association, according to reports.
This is a mile long haunted attraction where visitors work their way through a corn field and end up at the town of Raven's Gulch. The Terror in the Corn attraction and its lore have even inspired both a video game and a book.
Visitors can check it out every Thursday through Sunday during the month of October.

Fort Collins Haunted Tours & Haunted Pub Tour – Old Town Fort Collins
Even if you don't believe in the supernatural, ghost tours are a blast. You get to learn a bit more about the area you're touring AND a bit of a spook.
During the Fort Collins ghost tours, you'll explore "century-old buildings, local history and hauntings," according to the official Downtown Fort Collins page. The tours are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM.
