A Massive New Target Store Is Coming to This Colorado Town in 2026
There's one thing you should know about me...
If I see that giant red and white Target logo anywhere within 100 yards, I will for sure be dropping money that I should use to pay for my rent or electricity in that store.
I don't know what comes over me. The moment I walk through those automatic doors, I become possessed by a spirit that makes way more money than I do.
Another town in Northern Colorado is getting a Target. So, now I probably should steer clear of it if I want to retire by the time I turn 100.

A New Target Store Is Coming to Firestone, CO
The town of Firestone will be getting a new shopping center in the next few years, according to reports.
Where Will the New Northern Colorado Target Be Built?
Last year, town officials confirmed the news of Target coming to Firestone in an online statement.
The corporation purchased an 11-acre site within the Firestone City Centre development. This location just so happens to be west of the nearby Home Depot near Interstate 25 and State Highway 119.
How Big Will the New Firestone Target Be?
This new Target location is anticipated to be 128,000-square-feet upon completion.
What Local Officials Are Saying About the New Target
“It’s really been a privilege to work in such a cooperative way with Target. Attracting quality retailers like Target is a critical component of our plans to grow in a value-added way and creates additional opportunities," said Town Manager A.J. Krieger in a statement last year.
"Target has been a great partner, and we’re excited for them to be a part of our community."
When Will the New Target in Firestone Open?
It has been confirmed that construction will begin on the massive new location this month. Officials are planning for the store opening to be sometime in 2026. There is no word on the exact date as of yet.
