Hundreds of Colorado Comcast Employees Facing Layoffs by Year’s End

Hundreds of Coloradans, who all work for the same company, will be out of the job by the end of the year.

The report came in to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act for the state of Colorado on October 15th, 2025 from the Comcast Corporation.

Why Comcast Is Laying Off Hundreds of Workers in Colorado

Employees at one of the Colorado Comcast branches were notified that the company would be, " retiring its division structure" and "unifying all regional and divisional Communications and Government Affairs functions."

In the Colorado WARN report, the company claims this structure is more streamlined, meaning there's going to be some job cuts.

Comcast’s Centennial Headquarters to Close in 2026

Comcast's West Division, which has its headquarters at 9401 E. Panorama Circle in Centennial, will "cease to exist beginning in 2026."

Once this happens, then the facility will close at well.

How Many Comcast Jobs Will Be Cut in Colorado?

Due to this, 302 employees will be laid off. The WARN report claims all employees with jobs that will be affected by the closure are being or will be notified at least 60 days before they are let go.

These layoffs are expected to go into effect on December 31st. Some employees will actually be asked to work through 2026 to "ensure business continuity."
