With the beautiful mountains, the good air quality, and good school systems, most would think Colorado would be a top five or top ten state to live in, but according to this study, you would be wrong. Colorado shockingly didn't even crack the top 20. Coming in at 21st is the Centennial State, and Colorado ranked 28th in affordability, 27th in economy, 4th in education and health, 8th in quality of life, but disappointingly 47th in safety. While the school systems and health care are great in Colorado, the state has far too much crime, making it unsafe for many in the area. The good air quality and the amount of time residents spend outdoors likely play a factor in the high quality of life ranking.
