Colorado’s Favorite Gas Station Revealed: Does It Surprise You?

We have some pretty great gas stations here in Colorado. I have road-tripped throughout most of the country and I would say the only region that has great gas stations like Colorado would be states in the south.

I frequently visit Maverik on my way to work. I love Maverik's breakfast options and their gas is reasonably priced. I have no shame in admitting that I love gas station food. A lot of gas station food in Colorado is better than fast food restaurants.

However, Maverik was not rated Colorado's favorite gas station. Colorado's favorite gas station only has one location. Can you figure out what it is yet?

Freebets has identified each state's favorite gas station. Looking at the map, it is obvious to see that each region loves specific brands more than others. Colorado's favorite gas station caught out eye because there is only one location and it happens to be in Johnstown.

Yes, Colorado's favorite gas station is Buc-ee's. Buc-ee's just opened their first location in March 2024. I live about 30 minutes from the location and I make an effort to go to the gas station at least once a month.

Buc-ee's in Johnstown Is a Massive Hit

Their Beaver Nuggets are simply irresistible. If you have visited the new Buc-ee's in Johnstown, you know that a trip to Buc-ee's is an experience. I think of Buc-ee's as the Disneyland of gas stations.
