'Lost' Star Matthew Fox to Star in Upcoming 'Yellowstone' Sequel

Matthew Fox has joined the cast of the upcoming Yellowstone sequel, The Madison.

The former star of Party of Five and Lost will star opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in the new show. According to Deadline, Fox will play the role of Paul, "a self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors."

Fox joins Pfeiffer and former Suits star Patrick J. Adams in the cast of The Madison, which was originally titled 2024.

Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane) and Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes) are also confirmed to appear in The Madison. Paramount describes the show as a "heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana."

Michelle Pfeiffer will star in and also executive produce The Madison, which Paramount Network confirmed on Aug. 8.

TV Line first reported in July that that Pfeiffer, Adams, Garrett and Kurt Russell were in negotiations for The Madison, which is reportedly set to begin filming in late August in Montana, New York and Texas. Russell's participation remains unconfirmed.

Yellowstone stars Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes were rumored to reprise their roles in the sequel, but that appears to have changed. Puck News reports that Paramount has changed its mind about canceling Yellowstone after the upcoming second half of Season 5, and Hauser and Reilly are reportedly in talks to continue in their original roles on the flagship show for a planned Season 6.

Matthew McConaughey was long rumored to headline the Yellowstone sequel, but he appears not be attached to the project any longer.

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 is set to premiere on Paramount Network on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 8PM ET.

Paramount Network has not revealed a premiere date for The Madison.
