It’s Coming A Lower Cost EpiPen

What types of foods give you an allergic reaction? My nieces and nephews are allergic to peanuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts, anything that has the word nut in it they are allergic to it. They carry an EpiPen at all times just in case they eat something and have an allergic reaction to it. My Mom is allergic to mango's if she eats a mango her whole face swells up like a balloon.
Finally, we may have something on the market soon which is an affordable Epipen.
So many kids have eaten unsuspectedly something with peanut in it, and the results are sometimes deadly.

The U.S Food and Drug Administration approved the first generic version of the EpiPen and Epi Pen Jr for treatment of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis.

Mylan has raised the price from under $100 to over $600 for a set of two injections. So, hopefully with the new generic Epipen will be cheaper.

At this time we don't know how much the EpiPen will be or when it will be available to the general public.
