For the prisoners who are sentenced to ADX U.S. Penitentiary Administrative Maximum, it is the highest-security pen in the federal prison system. The high-security prison is located in Florence. Apparently, it is the only prison where an inmate can take a picture of their cell. That is how confident officials are in the security of their prison.

El Chapo is one of the most infamous to be sentenced to ADX it is possible however that after three years he could be transferred to another prison. He will be confined for 23 hours a day to his prison cell which measures 7ft x 12ft. However, after the first year, he may get to spend longer periods of time outside. The inmates do not get to interact with one another.

Prisoners are removed usually handcuffed and shackled and their one-hour time out of their cell may occur at any time of the day or night.
