Isn’t 102 MPH Too Fast for I-70 Between Fruita and Grand Junction?

A 20-year-old man has been arrested for speeding on Eastbound I-70 between Fruita and Grand Junction. What's so special about that? He was speeding to the tune of 102 miles per hour, driving without a license, and nearly collided with a Mesa County Sheriff's Deputy.

This last Sunday evening, November 15, 20-year-old Tyshawn Jasmare Gray was arrested on charges of:

• Speeding over 25-39 mph
• Driving without a seatbelt
• Driving without valid driver's license

Gray's case was one of several arrests made over the weekend in Western Colorado, most of which involved traffic violations and speeding.
