Are you jumping for joy over today's snowfall, or are you hating every single second of it? It's been a while since we've had any snow here in Western Colorado, so you are excited or disappointed?

Those in Montrose who received over a foot of snow are probably enjoying this less than those in Grand Junction who've received less than an inch.

If you are in Montrose, depending on your age, you're probably either hating having to drive through over a foot of snow or ecstatic because schools were closed.

There are more than a few residents of the area who've expressed concern over the shortage of precipitation. Certainly, no one likes the idea of having another summer where half the state of Colorado burns down due to severe drought.

For those working in "winter" related businesses, today is no doubt a blessing. It's pretty safe to say that nobody in the snow plowing business got rich this winter. Western Colorado ski resorts are no doubt loving every single flake that falls. Think of all the winter activities that have had to be canceled in recent history.
