Is Grand Junction Losing It’s Dairy Queen?

The HORROR! What is going on at this Grand Junction dessert palace?

This is what I drove by yesterday afternoon. I nearly drove over the median, up the curb, and through someone's front window.

Not another loss for the Grand Junction business community. My mind was reeling. Tons of great memories, going back as far as my aged brain lets me. Childhood smiles brought on upon by the yumminess of soft serve ice cream in a cone. Oh, remember the hard shell dipped cones? Heck, I remember when the Blizzard was this amazing brand new ice cream treat. Plus, if you have never had an ice cream cake, you better RUN down and get one as soon humanely possible.

But, WAIT! I composed myself long enough to walk in and ask what was going on. Thankfully, I was told they are only getting a new sign installed.
